Produce Umbrella Base - Cast Iron Base
Umbrella base is a
kind of cast iron base used for outdoor flags and umbrellas. Dandong
Foundry in China is producing this product for customers in USA and
Mexico. Its material is grey iron ASTM
A48 Class 30. Weight range from 50 kg to 100 kg.
We produced these bases by
green sand casting process and
resin sand casting process.
The surface quality is a main difficulty to produce them. Although
welding is permitted, but large casting defects will cause more
problems.
We used resin pattern
to produce them, the steel sand boxes need to be made customized.
These bases are large and thin, both top and bottom need good
surface quality, so normal sand boxes can not produce this product.
