The manufacturing process of cast iron cylinder trunnions mainly includes mold making, casting, fine processing, heat treatment and surface treatment.
1. Mold making
Make mold precisely according to the design drawing.
2. Casting
Pour the molten iron into the mold and wait for it to cool and harden to obtain the casting blank.
3. Fine processing
According to the size, shape and other requirements marked on the part drawing, the turning, milling, drilling and other processing are carried out respectively, in order to process the blank into the cylinder trunnion that meets the requirements.
4. Heat treatment
The processed cylinder trunnion is placed in a hot furnace for high-temperature treatment to increase its hardness and toughness so that it can better withstand the impact and wear during the operation of the equipment.
5. Surface treatment
Polishing, spraying and other surface treatments are performed on the processed cylinder trunnion to make it more beautiful, corrosion-resistant and prolong its service life.
