We could estimate the iron casting prices in 2024, basing on the gray iron and ductile iron casting prices from 2014 in China. The following trend chart is showing the iron casting prices from Mar. 2014 to Sep. 2023.
From this data chart, we can see one rule. Their prices have one change by every two years. For example, the casting price was reduced from 2014 to 2016, and their prices increased from 2016 to 2018, then reduced again till 2020.
The casting prices have been slightly reduced from 2021 to 2023, and we estimate the prices will be increased from 2023 to 2025. Therefore, the casting prices will be higher in 2024.
Take gray iron casting price for instance, in 2024, its price should be increased from the current 1.40 USD/kg to 1.60 USD/kg. At the same time, the ductile iron casting price may be increased from the current 1.50 USD/kg to 1.70 USD/kg.
