The general technical requirements of casting parts mainly include the requirements of material, dimensional accuracy and positional accuracy, surface roughness, coating quality requirements etc.
1. Material Requirements
Casting parts need to meet the specific hardness, tensile strength, elongation and impact toughness, to ensure that its physical properties meet the requirements of use.
2. Dimensional Accuracy and Positional Accuracy
Casting parts need to meet different dimensional and geometric tolerance standards, and different tolerance levels, to ensure the accuracy of its size and shape.
3. Surface Roughness
The surface roughness of the casting parts shall comply with the provisions of GB/T6060.1, and be evaluated according to the GB/T15056 method.
4. Coating Appearance Quality Requirements
Casting parts coating should be sprayed with epoxy anti-rust primer, paint film should be smooth and uniform, color is consistent, is not allowed to hang, local paint, bottom, knock scratches and other paint film defects.
5. Other factors that need to be considered in the design and manufacture of casting parts
For example, the defects of the castings are specified according to the requirements of use, such as porosity, sand hole, shrinkage hole, shrinkage porosity, slag inclusion, sand inclusion, crack, etc., to ensure that the quality and performance of the castings meet the needs of specific applications.
